“If you don’t adapt you die”
Hype or no hype from this COVID 19 pandemic… There’s going to be changes if not already.
Take Blockbuster for instances.
In the 80’s and 90’s they were bought for billions (and this is before they went public). They were a powerhouse in annual revenue. But, when Netflix was born in 99′, Blockbuster had an opportunity to buy them out at $20 mill (which they had more than enough to do so)… but refused to so believing that it wouldn’t take off..
And all the little mom and pop video shops.
I remember as a kid loving those things. Every week, when I was 8-13 years old taking a stroll to the local mart where the mom and pop store does video rentals. Every week they had a new selection (and the “secret” section in the back that was covered by a black a curtain that had a sign “Adults Only”.
Well, who would have known that VHS, DVDs, and Blue Ray would be obsolete.
Do you remember Kodak?
Yeah, another forgotten company in the hole that choose not to adapt.
And as we speak, I’m considering adding Web 3.0 to my business (more to come later if I do make the decision to get it), because the world is moving away from desktop interaction to purely mobile.
And don’t think that this doesn’t apply to your cart and horse business.
One of the ways I believe that might change are sellers looking online more often for credibility on you (if they aren’t doing this already). As well, as searching more often online (they’ve grown the habit 10-fold of scrolling through the Social Media and searching everything with a just snap of the thumb).
And even small things like text message marketing – which seems to be gaining less traction because of spam complaints.
So, with tech moving (and moving fast), it’s almost a near requirement to have a converting web site as an investor. Do I think its absolutely NEEDED….? No…. but, when sellers are being sold because they read my copy and my testimonials on my pages, then the sale becomes a hell of a lot easier and I just won that lead over everyone else whose sending a “We Buy Houses” letter….
Then, it’s something that I would get just for the sake of making the “sale” easier.
So, if you want to jump on the tech bus and create a site where you can add a sales video, testimonial videos, and an explanation of what you do… So that the seller is pre-sold before you show up to an appointment…

So, if you don’t want to make the same mistake Blockbuster did, and miss opportunity to build a very simple site for credibility and pre-selling, and an asset that brings leads to you (if you do the traffic plans of SEO or FB Ads)…
